Never underestimate the power of the Australians!

iTunes has published a list of the Best Podcasts for 2009, and Smart Mouths is listed in the “Best New Audio” category.

BUT, we’re only listed in their Australia store! You won’t see it if you’re viewing the page from other country stores.

Because I care about you all so much, I traveled with my MacBook to Australia, logged on to iTunes as soon as I arrived at the airport, and took screencaps of the accomplishment:

We’ll add some bonus content to this episode on the iPhone app later this week!

Once you grab the Smart Mouths iPhone/iPod touch app on iTunes, you’ll probably wonder how to download the bonus content (in this case, Episode 34).

It’s simple! Click on Smart Mouths #35, then click “Extras” in the top right. You’ll then see a button that says “Bonus Content”.

It’s important that you click on the “Extras” button AFTER selecting Episode 35. Otherwise you’ll be looking on the wrong page.

With each new episode, we’ll try to include some new Bonus Content only available through the app. Remember, your purchase of the app goes to supporting the show – and we give you something really cool in return!

Every once in a while, there comes a time in a podcast’s life where everything doesn’t fall into place. It happens to every podcast, and our 29th episode fell victim to this kind of situation.

So, without much explanation, we give you Episode 29 of Smart Mouths – recorded last minute on Ustream where just over 150 listeners tuned in and went along for the ride.

We (Laura, Matt, and I) are actually pretty proud of this one. To put it simply, it was a lot of laidback fun! We hope you enjoy it, too.
