Today, we celebrate the birth of the legendary anchorman, Micah Tannenbaum. Born in the year of our lord, (19XX) Micah has always been an invaluable member of our podcasting team. From our days of dabbling in satanic witchcraft to these current days of dabbling in being assholes, he has always been there to tell it like it is and “give it to us”.

Unfortunately for poor Micah, he is oftentimes subjected to the poor manners and vulgar exploits of his fellow co-hosts. He has been kind enough all these years to shake his head rather than giving us all the “FUCK YOU” we so richly deserve.

On behalf of Smart Mouths, I would like to wish Mr. Tannenbaum a HAPPY FUCKING BIRTHDAY! I’m sure our listeners agree when I say this show would not be the same without the tales of Darwin award winners, genitalia and the occasional farm animal getting caught up with the wrong crowd.

I would never suggest writing to CNN to tell them about Smart Mouths and our Political Tweet of the Week segment. Oh no. To do so would be encouraging madness….

Today our resident Smart Mouths matriarch celebrates her birthday, and on behalf of the entire team and our loyal listeners, I’d like to wish her the best and happiest of days! In many ways, Penny’s perseverance in ~~kicking our asses into shape~~ getting things done is often the driving force that gets our plans off the ground. We wouldn’t know what to do with ourselves if she didn’t offer her sensible and determined input on the show each week! From a personal standpoint, Penny is THE go-to person for advice and is always a patient listener with many kind things to say. In an effort to wrap up the sap, we’d basically be screwed without her. Happy Birthday!!!

Since you don’t just want to listen to the three of us drone on about partisan politics and gay sex, we figured we’d host a live call-in and take your burning questions about politics, pop culture, wtf news, and anything else you might find interesting!
