Dear Matt,
Wiki is not at all reliable. Although you may be able to source it, many of the sources are almost completely MADE UP!!! Also, teachers are all for looking for easier ways to fin information because then they have an easier time finding the info for future reference. Please DO NOT say Wiki is reliable, never ever again.
Thank You, Katie Shanahan

Katie, you need to get to know Wikipedia before making such statements, no the sources are not made up, there are thousands of users policing wikipedia, making sure all there’s no vandalizing etc. Wikipedia is reliable.

Great episode! I loved all of it! And Katie, almost all the links on Wiki lead to a real article. It’s really useful!
Also, we share the same birthday…And year. o_0 That’s creepy…

Im going to have to agree with Christian, the whole wikipedia is unreliable is just made up by teachers so students will research more across the internet instead of just wikipedia.

Fantastic show guys – Imprint and SM all at once, hooray!!
Listened on the way to school this morning, and had to get off the bus halfway through – it was like a cliffhanger, I kept trying to sneak away at reaks to listen to the rest but I never got to >_< I practically ran back to the bus park when school finished!
Anyway, I’m listening again now, and I think I’ll be emailing in about some of the stuff you said, especially about gay marrige and prop 8, because I really loved that discussion.

I’m a little peeved that there’s ZERO talk about Eminem dropping his first album in 4 years yet they can talk about Bruce Springsteen and Green Day up the ass. Hell I wouldn’t even care if they said Eminem completely sucks and should be killed, it’s one of the biggest albums to be released this year yet we don’t hear a thing from them. I think that they’re dropping the ball a bit on this one…
June 5th, 2009 on 8:18 AM
Aldrin – I think the thing to remember is that they can’t discuss EVERY big album that comes out. And it’s all relative – I’m sure to Eminem fans it IS a huge album, but to people like me who aren’t a fan it’s not a big deal. Plus, I don’t think it’s fair to make such a blaket statement,. For all you know one of the hosts could be a huge Eminem fan!

Very true magicmarkers, I didn’t mean for my post to come of as rant-y as it did. I’m not expecting EVERY album to be discussed, that would be absolutely ridiculous. But if they can discuss all of U2, Bruce Springsteen, and Green Day’s albums, why can’t we get a small maybe 2 minute round up segment on Eminem? His album was just as big, if not a bigger, story especially with his 4 year hiatus. I suppose it is all relative because no disrespect to U2, Bruce, or Green Day but they aren’t a big deal to me, the way Eminem isn’t a very big deal to you.

I want to thank you guys on your gay marriage discussion. Most of my familey does not agree with me when that issue comes up, and I feel alone. Your discussion really helped me feel optimistic about myself and my opinion. Thanks so much! I love you guys. ?
