I have such a hard time with this, I mean, I support freedom of religion and freedom if speech, but this is just .. arhg .. I mean, why do you have to hate people who don't agree with you? These people claim to be Christian, but isn't that about being accepting. Loving thy neighbour and all that?!
I can't wrab my head around this!
- in the end, I'll never empathize with anything like this, I'll probsbly even never be able to say something nice about them, but I will defend their right to say and believe anything to the day I die, even if it makes me feel like a hypocritical person!

I've been following these freaks for a very long time and it's literally around 20 people making all this mess.
They're pretty much insane. I've always wanted to go to one of their protests and throw rocks or something.
There's a bunch of great videos about anti-protesting the WBC on youtube.
My favorite is the guy that holds up a sign that looks like theirs that says "Gay sex is sin-sational."

The Supreme Court has included the case of Snyder v Phelps on its upcoming docket. Very interesting; while I hate the WBC as much as the next guy, I'm honestly not sure how I want this case to pan out...

While I am both against their hateful messages and 'supporting' of their freedom of speech, I do think it goes a bit far when they protest at funerals and places like that (this is the same group, right? I seem to recall an episode where this was discussed, sorry if I'm getting groups mixed up). Hypothetically saying its the same group I'm thinking of... while it may not be 'illegal' to protest at a soldier's funeral, shouldn't there be moral limits... shouldn't there be moral illegality? Its just wrong.

I know exactly what you mean, I feel the same way, and I have a really hard time accepting that people can be so hateful towards other human beings.
That's why I feel like a major hypocrite, because I don't want them to practise their freedom of speech in this manner. (Does that make any sense?)

This people make me feel physically sick. Whilst they claim to be "religious" I cannot help but believe that they are just hiding behind that label to protect themselves and their own self serving and disgusting views. How can they claim to be Christian and hate everything? Jesus is love but they are the pure opposite. I do believe in the right of freedom of speech but there is a time and a place for their hatred and not any funeral. I'm just glad they have been banned in the UK.
