I play the cello. The best day of my life was when I learned to play Pirates of the Caribbean on the cello.

OMG! I'm playing Pirates of the Caribbean in chamber orchestra. Sometimes I feel like I want to stop playing in the middle of the song to listen to the cello part.

It's great. The Pirates of the Caribbean theme is probably the best movie theme to play on any string instrument. You said you were in a chamber orchestra, what instrument do you play? Violin?

Where's the double reed love? ): My primary instrument is the bassoon, the bessssst freaking instrument on the planet. :D

I've also played the clarient for an extensive amount of time, keyboarded instruments like the marimba, the guitar, timpani, and I'm picking up piano again this summer.

I, too, hated the recorder. :/ WORST instrument on the planet.

Yes, I am a violinist. I'm learning a bit of viola though.

Hey, stop hating on the recorder! :P used to play the recorder, was head of the recorder club in primary school and everything. I am just that cool. :geek:

Been playing the flute for five and a half/six years and the piano for a year now. I used to play and started when I was nine? and quit when I was twelve? So I had two and a half years out. Woo? :?

Used to play the violin, started when I was three? Can anyone say forced slightly? But I was crap, no joke. Blame my small-child sized hands.

I can also tootle on the guitar; electric and classical, didgeridoo, ocarina and electric shaky egg ;)

Under Pressure = quite possibly the best bass line ever created. Stupid 'Vanilla Ice' just butchered it.
