Just some clarification: Anyone can get the app. But with that said, if you don’t have an iPhone or an iTouch, there’s really no point. But regardless of where you live, you can get it. And pretty easily, at that.

All you have to do is go and try to download a free app. Any app will do, and it has to be FREE. Then, you click sign up with it asks you for your iTunes account, and you fill everything out. Not: This will only work with a free app, because it gives you the “none” option for payments. Then, once you have your account, you can go and purchase an iTunes gift card, click “buy” on the app, and enter your card info, and BAM! You have the ever-elusive SmartMouths app!

Though i find the idea of an iPhone app brilliant for those who have the iPhone i just hope that myself, being one with out the device, will be able to get all the context from the app online. How about something likeeeee pickle packkkk like you did for mugglecast? that would be fantastic! i will not complain about not being able to use the app because i know that eventually i will be able to listen to all the stuff on there, whenever you guys figure out how. Love the show, thanks so muchhhh.

While we understand and appreciate that many of you want access to this content, let’s not turn this whole debate into “Apple corporate mongers vs. maligned listeners”. 84% of you download our show through iTunes, an APPLE program. If you’re upset that you don’t have the device needed to access this content presently, join the club. Neither Micah or myself own iPhones.

That said, we are currently brainstorming ways to try and involve non-iPhone users, but it’s not going to happen over night. Please be patient. Know that episode 34 is not EXCLUSIVE to the app, and that it will be released for everyone very soon. We wanted content to launch the app with, and happened to think giving buyers an early listen to the show was a nice idea.

The bonus content will be available on the website. We couldn’t make the app free because the people who helped us build it require it to be a paid application. We understand that not everyone has an iPhone, and not everyone will be able to purchase the app, so we’re going to make sure that everyone has access to the content from the app on the website. We’re working through the technical issues.

Please do not assume all your listeners have iPhones. This may surprise many of you, who are so far up Apple’s arse that your face is covered in their shit.
