Good afternoon Bolsheviks!
It’s time for another episode of Smart Mouths! This week, we devote time to a serious discussion of HR3200, the Health Care reform bill. It’s like an awesome, pre-recorded audio version of a town hall, except there are no old people screaming about bill provisions that don’t actually exist.

- The Roundup covers deaths, Woodstock, Glenn Beck, and Rupert Murdoch.
- Health Care Reform reins supreme on this week’s episode.
- A basic overview of how the current system works.
- MEDICARE IS GOVERNMENT RUN, BITCHES.

- The Political Bitches are back to dispel the myths of the reform bill!
- We take your questions in regards to reform.
- WTF News covers Object Sexism, spontaneous idiocy, sexual harassment of Disney characters, and more!

So I have been wondering this for some time so if someone could help me out that would be wonderful.
So I use to have any Ipod Nano 3rd generation and I use to push the middle key a couple times and it would bring up the lineup (or whatever you want to call the thing up above with what is going to happen in the show) of the show so I could see what was happening in this show cause I can never remember. Then i got myself an Ipod touch 2nd generation and I have no clue how to bring this up and would really like to.
Thanks if u can help me.

It was a good episode! However most of you seemed a little off your game – Laura sounded very angry and Matt sounded tired, the only one who really seemed normal was Andrew and he wasn’t saying much.
Happy birthday to Micah!

hey guys
Just to say loved you disscusion of health care, it was well explained as I’m from england and 15 but I understood how it worked.
Just to say you talked about the healthcare in england saying it was much better than ammerica however our heathcare is’ent great either I know from experience that our cleaness in hospitals is poor and many operations do go wrong, such as my mums, she had a operation for varicose vein operation and came out with perminate nerve damage and several other spinal issues, we also have to wait for an insane amout of time (5 hours for an x-ray) and where I live the children and maternity hospital was closed down meaning that parents have quiet a way to go to get their children to hospital and many pregant women are having their babies in cars on the way to the hospital
sorry about the long email and althought I probably don’t understand everything about my countries healthcare I just thought I’d say things arent as great as they seem.

Poor fox news probably doesn’t understand why their ratings are up. My dad and I have recently taken to watching some of those looneys rant. It cracks me up that they even think the vast majority of their viewers might take them seriously. Great show guys.

Matt, Elysa, Andrew, Penny, Greg, Micah.HOSTS listen. I read this in the comments of the bill
The actual verbiage of section102 states that “(A) IN GENERAL- Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day of Y1.” This means that if you would lose the coverage you currently have (job loss or change), you are no longer allowed to enroll in your new employers plan. You CAN keep your coverage you have, until it isn’t available to you. New hires to a company cannot be added to the employers plan. Eventually, this will in effect shut down all current insurers over time. Eventually, most employers will have so few employees on their plan, they will discontinue the plans as not cost effective. And why should they continue when there is “coverage for all?”
