Smart Mouths #29: Temptation

Every once in a while, there comes a time in a podcast’s life where everything doesn’t fall into place. It happens to every podcast, and our 29th episode fell victim to this kind of situation.
So, without much explanation, we give you Episode 29 of Smart Mouths – recorded last minute on Ustream where just over 150 listeners tuned in and went along for the ride.
We (Laura, Matt, and I) are actually pretty proud of this one. To put it simply, it was a lot of laidback fun! We hope you enjoy it, too.

i love how you guys were debating about if the penny and greg would pick up the phone! dudes, its shabbos! they won’t pick up the phone. if someone wants to explain to matt, laura, and andrew how a shabbos elevator works, please do. i think they might get a kick out of it.

One of my favorite episodes, I liked the number of hosts and the casual tone of the episode. I’ve already listened to it 3 times.

Loved the show like this! It was much more easy going without being eddited (as happens with all your other podcasts, I don’t know why you guys edit in the first place) and without the segments too! You guys have great chemistry and just kept the show going, with a bit of news here and there, it was just so great! It would be really really cool if you cut down the segments and just kept the laid back talking… but wait, don’t cut all segments, please keep wtf news, british slang or fruit and two truths and one lie. The listeners calling in was also a lot of fun, maybe you can keep the live episodes a permanent thing?
