I haven’t even finished listening to the episode yet but I have to stop and comment. The Catcher in the Rye was a horrible book. It was so boring and repetitive! I could hardly finish it. Although I did really like J. D. Salinger in general.

Where are the t-shirt contest entries? Are you going to put them up? I want to see them…

One of the guys on the show (I think it was Greg) called Samuel Alito the chief justice of the Supreme Court. Not that he’s much better, but John Roberts is the chief justice. Crazy conservative Alito is one of the eight associative justices.

I agree with you Veronica. Catcher in the Rye is the second worse book ever written. The worse is Lord of the Flies.

I have to disagree with you, Danielle. I haven’t read Catcher in the Rye, but I love Lord of the Flies.

Well, I can’t agree or disagree with anyone, as I haven’t read it. Great episode though, hmm, should I say who’s in the Super Bowl?

I haven’t read The Catcher in the Rye (Mainly cuz I’m too busy with my AP Lang books, which this one is not on it). But I have read Lord of the Flies, and I find it to be one of the most controversial books written. Of these books, A Brave New World by Huxley is near the top as well.
