Dude. I’m getting tired of writing something witty (or pretending to write something witty when you and I both know it’s not witty at all) in the paragraphs before the show summaries. I’m gonna take a stand and not write anything else in this paragraph and if anyone has an issue with it too bad. Kay? KAY?

-Faisal Shahzad (dubbed fo’ shizzle by Micah) pled guilty for the attempted Times Square bombing.
-True Blood returned.
-Our Summer Movie Blockbuster series has returned and we review Toy Story 3 and Karate Kid….and….Matt gives us a review of Eclipse!
-Speaking of Eclipse…we want Micah to see it…on a date…hmm.
-Backwash covers Lady GaGa (and Micah throws a fit) and Soccer (and Greg throws a fit).

Hello! Ummmm… I’ve just downloaded from Itunes and it comes up as Episode 64 instead of 65. Weird huh? Or maybe it’s coz I’m on the other side of the planet, i dunno. Just thought I’d share.

Guys, what about Vampire Diaries? I noticed in your podcast where you talked about other show finales. Vamp diaries is HUGE and the finale was epic. Also greys anatomy.

@Jeff, it’s because Penny said them and remember, she usually doesn’t swear. Also, I think it’s Penny who edits the show. So it was probably her decision to edit herself out. What’s the big deal if they’re bleeped? I thought it was funny.

Oh man just finished listening and Greg buddy, you really need to watch a basketball game. There are breaks between each quarter and anyone who watched the Lakers beat the Celtics knows that the last 5 minutes of the game alone lasted nearly 40 minutes simply because of all the commercials, fouling and time outs. The half time alone has many commercials as well and this goes for any basketball game. As for hockey, there are many commercials and considering there are breaks between each period… sorry for the minor rant here but it was pretty comical listening to the other podcasters reaction to this!!

Guys, I don’t know if you know this or have any control over it, but it seems that, because Audible has a new UK site, us UK listeners can’t use your promotional link =/ I’ve tried to buy stuff on the US site and it won’t let me because I’m in the UK – do you know any way around that, or can you ask Audible if the code can also be used on the UK site?

Oh would the hosts please stop making fun of Twilight.
I hear about it all the time with Potter fans. And Greg I listened to other podcast and there’s nothing wrong with reading Twilight. My husband loves the books and movies. There is millions like me who love those books more then the Potter ones. And I see nothing wrong with that. I like the Potter books and I am a fan but you make is seem like it’s the only book series out there that people love.
Yes it’s cheesy but the books have heart and lovable characters and I think Potter fans need to stop hating. That’s the biggest problem I have with that fandom too much hate and jealousy.

Not all the Potter fans but most of them. And yes I understand there’s many that love both but you know what I mean. Twilight fans might be more passionate and crazy at times but they love their franchise and welcome others. True Blood is not for me but I understand why people love it.
I love you all and well Penny sometimes and you probably know why she get’s on my nerves at times.
Love the show and could you fix i tunes it’s not downloading this episode.

Wow are we really still debating over Potter & Twilight when there is a date with Micah (aka Hot sexy man with hot man voice)at stake? wow. you people have managed to amaze me. Where are your priorities? Obviously i win the date with micah seeing as to none of you seem to care. Seriously, its sad not just about your lack of enthusiasm about micah & his voice but also over this POTTER/Twilight debate. Lets not forget, that Harry Potter managed to get the world’s attention without having hot shirtless guys running around whispering sweet nothings to girls. AND THIS COMES FROM SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY LIKES TWILIGHT.

Sia- I’m going to try to respond without getting on your nerves, but it might be difficult.
I don’t think this podcast makes fun of twilight any more than anyone in the greater world we live in. 4/7 of us produce a Twilight podcast and 2/3 of the rest of us have read the books and seen the movies. Greg read the series has been a guest host on Imprint and took that role very seriously without any mocking when he did so. If we mock it because someone like Micah doesn’t seem like a typical twilight fan then that’s ok. He doesn’t fall into the TYPICAL demographic of fans.
I will admit that I like Harry Potter much more than I like Twilight. I can’t compare the two series, it wouldn’t be fair. In MY opinion, they are incomparable. I have read twilight and seen the movies for entertainment and that’s it for me. I have gotten into heated debates with other people (i.e., Elysa) about my issues with the series, but that doesn’t mean I choose to hate it over HP. I couldn’t care less about the Twilight fandom or its relationship to the HP fandom. So whether I ever read HP in my life or not, my feelings about twilight wouldn’t change. I read the books, liked them, had issues with them despite having enjoyed reading them, and I support the franchise by seeing the movies. But once again, none of this has to do with HP. Make sense?
In general, this show does not speak positively about everything and anything and then choose to bash twilight. It is one of the many many things that we mock. But then again, we mock ourselves more than we mock anything else on the show. Keep that in mind.

Also, if iTunes is not downloading the episode, it is on your end. You might need to unsubscribe and resubscribe to the podcast. We’re currently having no problems with it.

I’m surprised in the suggestion of Girl With The Dragon Tattoo you didn’t mention that there are graphic sexual abuse scenes in it – the second one as well (haven’t read the 3rd yet). Just one of those things that I would have liked to know before I read the books. Great read though, once you get past like the 4th chapter.
